These terms cover your use of the Caelia desktop application and this website. Buying a licence or using the software means you accept them.
1. What you are buying
A licence to use Caelia - not ownership of the software. The licence is personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable except as described below.
Your key activates the number of computers you paid for, which you choose at checkout. One computer unless you bought more. You may move an activation to a different machine: release it on the old one, or ask us to clear it if that machine is no longer available to you.
2. What you may not do
- Share, resell, rent or sub-licence your key.
- Use your key on more machines at once than you paid for.
- Work around, remove or interfere with licence checks or activation.
- Decompile or reverse engineer the software, except where law expressly allows it.
- Use Caelia to break the law, to access systems you have no right to access, or to interfere with other people's computers or accounts.
Breaking these terms may end your licence without a refund.
3. Model providers are separate services
Caelia needs a key from a third-party AI provider that you choose and hold an account with. That relationship is between you and them. You pay them directly, their terms apply to your use of their service, and their availability, pricing and output are not under our control.
We do not resell AI usage and we do not charge for it.
4. What the software does on your computer
Caelia automates your desktop, which means it can create, change, move and delete files, open applications, control a browser, and send messages when you ask it to. That is the product.
You are responsible for what you instruct it to do. Actions we consider significant or destructive are put in front of you for approval first, but a request you approve is a request you made. Keep backups of work that matters.
5. Output is not advice
Caelia is built on language models and can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently mistaken. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.
In particular, nothing Caelia produces is financial, legal, medical or tax advice. Market news channels and any trading-related reporting exist to show you information and measurements, not to tell you what to do with your money. Decisions and their consequences are yours.
6. Updates and changes
Caelia checks for updates and can install them automatically. Updates may add, change or remove features. We will not remove something significant that you paid for without saying so.
If a future major version is a paid upgrade, that will be stated clearly before you are asked to pay anything.
7. Availability
The software runs on your machine, but activation, updates and support depend on services that can be interrupted. We aim to keep them up and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
8. Payment and refunds
Prices are shown on the pricing page. Licences are issued after payment is confirmed. Refunds are covered by the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Intellectual property
Caelia, its name, its interface and its code remain ours. Content you create with it is yours, subject to your model provider's terms about their output.
10. Warranty
The software is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will suit a particular purpose, run without fault, or produce any specific result.
This does not affect rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
11. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost data, lost business or other indirect loss arising from your use of Caelia. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your licence.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Ending the licence
You may stop using Caelia at any time. We may end a licence that breaches these terms, or one that has been refunded. On termination you must stop using the software and remove it.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update this page. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use Caelia after a change means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and its courts have jurisdiction, unless consumer law where you live requires otherwise.
